Job Description

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities Monitors staff’s weekly lesson plans to ensure curriculum is being implemented daily, and to ensure the appropriateness of other planned activities. Assists in coordination of school-wide special curriculum events. Coordinates sharing and use of supplies requested by teachers. (Takes requests of supplies from teachers, fills requests as much as possible in house and makes list of items that need to be purchased.) Monitors and assists with New Hire Onboarding Training Plan. Works with teachers on maintaining quality classroom environments. Keeps inventory of curriculum materials for school during the academic year and in the summer. Assists in ordering education consumables annually. Keeps track of training hours for all employees (enters staff training hours and files certificates in state staff files). Completes any additional miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as assigned. Communicates company training to staff and organizes attendance. Has knowledge of and researches outside professional development and organizes staff to attend. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required Strong analytical, decision making, and verbal communication skills required. Ability to motivate and resolve conflicts. Ability and willingness to work a flexible full-time schedule that may include weekends and holidays. Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Professional presentation and attitude. Ability to communicate with, motivate others, analyze, and solve problems, fostering a positive work environment. Effective leader and role model for the school team. Ability to exercise appropriate, independent judgment calls. Knowledge of State and local standards. Knowledge of early child development and appropriate practices. Ability to ensure a safe, loving, learning environment for children. Counseling and behavior management skills required.
