If someone were to tell you they went to a “Scramble,” what would you think it was? A new breakfast cafe? A rummage sale where you had to madly reach for something before someone else did? A corn maze where you had to frantically find your way through people and corn stalks?
The Scramble we attended on Friday, Nov. 5th, is a networking luncheon event that the McHenry County Chamber of Commerce holds twice a year. You find yourself meeting and networking with people at every turn and you scramble from one table to another throughout this progressive lunch. While at each table, you have only but a few minutes to tell everyone you’re seated with who you are and what benefits your company offers to them.
