Our Event Scrapbooking service does just that.  We create a customized scrapbook using your theme and color preferences before your event takes place.  We then attend your event with your pre-made scrapbook and become your photographer.  While your event is in progress, we print out the photos, copy photos onto a CD and complete the scrapbook.

When your event is finished, your scrapbook is completed and you have an instant keepsake to immediately enjoy!

There are two scrapbook sizes to choose from — prices include materials & embellishments for 20 pages and includes labor:

8″ x  8″  - $395.00

12″ x 12″ – $595.00

CD with all photos – $50.00

Additional copies of photo CD’s are $10.00

Additonal pages can be added to your scrapbook for a minimal cost as follows:

8 x 8 = $10.00 per page

Cody’s had lots of things for everyone to enjoy. The children enjoyed the hay rides, pumpkin launcher, petting zoo and corn maze. The adults savored home-made apple cider donuts and pies, made purchases of the beautiful assortment of fruits and veggies on display and strolled through the many vendor booths — each one displaying something different than the other and most of the merchandise being sold was hand-crafted.

Scrapping on the Spot was a vendor there this year and we met so many wonderful people! We had several things available for purchase such as pre-made scrapbook pages, card making kits, explosion picture boxes and explosion picture books — many with Halloween and autumn themes.

Thank you Cody’s for giving us the opportunity to share this weekend with you. And thank you to everyone who came out to the farm and stopped by our table — it was great seeing you!

A few of the "suspects"

Rachel’s birthday is October 10, and this year she wanted to have a special gathering with family and friends.   Her wish came true this weekend with a themed birthday party – a  Murder Mystery that took place on the Titanic with a lovely high tea served on vintage floral patterned china.  Eight guests were randomly selected to become “suspect” characters in the mystery and were given real names of Titanic passengers, a profile description and a  script to read out to the group.  Once all eight people told their stories, it was up to the entire group to figure out “who done it.”  The plot of the mystery was carried out throughout the afternoon, only stopping for high tea, birthday cake and short breaks to think about the story lines. 

Scrapping on the Spot created a vintage scrapbook to compliment the theme using rose-patterned motifs decorated with a variety of embellishments using lace, velvet and other accents.  Note cards were created for many pages and were signed with special happy birthday wishes.   “Suspects” were displayed in a two-page picture gallery with each picture affixed to a profile description card.  The very  last page displayed replica copies of actual Titanic postcards and photos.  The front cover of the velvet covered scrapbook set the stage of the theme with a collage of vintage style embellishments.

Oh …. we won’t tell you who actually “did it,” but we WILL tell you that it was a lovely affair and that Rachel achieved her goal of making this year’s 10-10-10 birthday, one that would definitely be remembered.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RACHEL — we wish you many more years of happiness and memorable celebrations!

Most baby showers are special, but this one had some additional significance to Skye’s family… this is her parents first grandchild and it’s the first boy to be born in the family in this next generation!!    Definitely cause for celebration!

Scrapping on the Spot captured these special moments and presented Skye with a fully completed scrapbook of her afternoon.  You could see the happiness in her eyes as she scanned each page and we know she will enjoy viewing the 200+ pictures we took during her special day.

Congratulations Skye and Jon!  We wish you an abundance of happiness and love as you begin your journey as new parents.  Congratulations also to Connie and John as they begin their journey as grandparents for the first time!

Scrapping on the Spot was there collecting various memories for their scrapbook — pictures of family and friends, signed notecards and lots of embellishments.  We had an absolutely enjoyable time with the entire group — everyone was so very pleasant and it was evident they were thoroughly enjoying their day together.  At the end of the celebration, there were many things to collect up and pack away in their cars.  One of them was their completed scrapbook — an instant keepsake of the day — something they could take home that night and share together.

Congratulations to you Taryn & Michael — we wish you every joy and happiness as you start your new life together!

Proviso West’s All Class Reunion was a great success thanks to the organizational efforts of George Roa – Class of 1996. The evening started with a beautiful food buffet offering a huge variety of things to choose from which was followed by a large dessert table. Our DJ, Ronald DiFiore – Class of 1977, provided a great assortment of tunes to dance to from all decades. As the evening progressed, re-aquaintences were made, tons of pictures were snapped and the Class Decade Photos were taken on the ballroom staircase.

Scrapping on the Spot was invited to the event to take photos during the night and to sell Panther Pages, frames and offer individual photos.  Our cameras were ready for anything — serious poses as well as fun photos with the use of our hats, oversized glasses and other fun things from our Fun Tub.

A perfect example of this is the GREAT photo of George and Ken … can you tell they were having fun?  

The Scrapping on the Spot team also took a few photos to display on the Panther scrapbook pages that were placed in our specialty frames.  Two sizes were on display:  Small frame (11×11) holding a small Panther Page and a Large frame (16×16) holding a large Panther Page.  Many people  were using the white space on the large page to gather autographs from classmates!

Both frames have a white suede frame mat and hold a customized Panther Page created in the school colors.  Each page provides a 4×6 photo mat to display your own photo taken on the night.

When food is involved, you’ll generally have a 3 course meal — you sit at a different assigned table for each course and are then given a 3 minute opportunity to introduce yourself to your table and describe your services. 

It’s fast moving.  And believe me, if you didn’t have your elevator speech ready for the occasion, you’ll certainly have it down pat by time the meeting is over!

We were invited to the McHenry Area Chamber of Commerce Scramble held on April 23, 2010 and mingled with nearly 200 different businesses.  It was such an enriching experience to meet with such a diverse number of people and have the opportunity of developing new business relationships!

One of the key messages given during the day was not to use this meeting as a way to push your business off to others… but to look for businesses you can genuinly HELP.  Why?  Because the returns back to you will be three fold.
