It was one of the very first “official” sunny days of the season — some people would call it a winter sun — but regardless of what the weather would have been called, it could not diminish the happiness that was shared on this day. Melanie looked gorgeously radiant and Matthew proudly wore his Navy Reserve uniform — truly a beautiful couple.

The day was planned out perfectly starting out with rehearsal dinner night. The entire bridal party and the parents of both Bride and Groom stayed overnight at the same hotel. The next morning, everyone began preparing for the big day.

We arrived at the hotel early that afternoon in order to capture several photos of the bridal party in the hotel foyer, then off to the reception venue where vows and celebrations took place. The tables were elegantly decorated with beautiful centerpieces and the tables where guests signed in and looked for their seating numbers were warm and inviting.

It was a beautiful event and as the night progressed, we continued to capture the moments they wanted included in their event scrapbook. When it was time to present them with their completed keepsake, the Maid of Honor made an announcement and everyone gathered closer to their table to see it. The smiles were continuous as they turned each page and when they were done, we received the traditional “2 Thumbs Up.”

CONGRATULATIONS Melanie and Matthew! It was a honor to capture your day — we wish you a lifetime of love and happiness together!

P.S. This was one of the first celebrations where so many of our Frendors were providing services — it was a great feeling to work with so many other professionals and share in the happiness of the day !
