One of the products we are really excited about is our 8″ x 8″ Expandable Brag Book containing 20 folding panels which are color coordinated. Pictures, note cards, and other memorabilia from a special event — or a series of events — can be placed on each panel and bragged about to your family and friends. The Expandable Brag Book is held closed with a ribbon that is easily tied into a bow.

This latest product will be showcased at the Bebe Paluzza Expo on July 31-August 1 at the Schaumburg Renaissance Convention Center in Schaumburg, IL. Visit Scrapping on the Spot at Booth 510 at the Expo.

Leading up to the Expo we will be releasing various designs of the Expandable Brag Book.

Picture Boxes

Our hand-made Picture Boxes are an ideal way to collect and showcase pictures of any occasion! Remove the top and several tiers of mini-panels cascade to display your wallet sized photos and other pieces of memorabilia such as ticket stubs, poems, note cards or other little keepsakes. The middle of the box provides a well that can hold a small little gift, accent piece, or can be used for an additional photo or title card.

Each box provides 21 available spaces and uses color coordinated paper and cardstock and can be customized with any theme to suit any occasion.

We are introducing this new product at the Bebe Paluzza Baby Expo and will be displaying a different box each day leading up to the expo. Be sure to stop by the Scrapping on the Spot booth #510 just near the Main Stage to see one of these great gift ideas !

The Scrapping on the Spot team are extremely excited to have been selected to be part of the Bebe Paluzza Expo to be held at the Renaissance Convention Center, Schaumburg, Illinois, on Saturday July31st and Sunday August 1st 2010.

Bebe Paluzza is the Largest Maternity, Baby and Toddler Show in the USA, with their events catering for future parents, current parents and grandparents. At the Expo you can learn about the latest products and services for babies and toddlers in a fun and entertaining environment. The shows provide a wide array of vendors and exhibitors for new and expectant parents to explore. Many of the featured products and services are by parents for parents, including: nutrition, health and safety, pregnancy and risk factors, clothing fashion trend and sales, as well as innovative products and furnishings.

Scrapping on the Spot will be there at Booth 510, right up the front near the master stage. . Come see our newest hand-made products which include picture boxes and expandable brag books that can be customized for any occasion. First Picture with Grandma

Calligraphy has often been referred to as a “visual art” because of the grace and beauty it spreads across a note or page. Over the years it has taken on various shapes and believe it or not, has evolved to our modern day cursive writing.

Various forms of calligraphy can be found in various font styles used in software programs including the Cricut Expression cartridges. Many scrapbook papers and embellishments also carry various forms of calligraphy as shown in this scrapbook page. If we look around us, we’ll find this art form all around us…. wedding and event invitations, inscriptions, memorial documents, maps, graphic design and religious art.

Have you ever tried penning your own word or phrase using calligraphy? It takes a bit of practice but once you’ve mastered it, you will have joined legions of artists who have brought joy through the beauty of their words.
