Marengo Holiday Housewalk 2012

Unusually warm spring-like weather ensured that plenty of people took the opportunity to come and visit us as we participated in the 22nd Annual Marengo Union Holiday Housewalk. This was our third year of participation and it was again great.

Conant High School Craft Fair

The 33rd annual Conant High School Craft Fair in Hoffman Estates was one of the biggest that we had participated in, with over two hundred booths spread throughout the school’s halls and corridors. And the number of visitors was just amazing, with a large steady stream thru the school all day.,

McHenry College Craft Fair 2012

We took the opportunity for the second year to participate in the McHenry County College Craft Fair, which was their thirty-third year. The number of vendors was certainly an increase on last year and despite the inclement weather there was a good number of visitors to our stall.

Marengo Holiday Housewalk 2010

This past weekend marked the 19th Annual Holiday Housewalk in Marengo, IL. Artisians from the local community have the opportunity to display their holiday wares and are placed in various locations throughout the Marengo area. A map provides a snapshot of where the locations are and how to get to them — some areas afford a walk through the neighborhood to get to the next stop, some locations require a short ride to get to. Some of the Victorian home owners open their doors and invite the public to view the beauty of a day gone by and artisians are placed in each home. Several businesses, churches and other organizations also do the same. All total, this year’s event offered over 60 artisians — all offering a beautiful selection of things to buy.

Holiday Bazaar

On December. 8th, Scrapping on the Spot participated in a Holiday Bazaar at the Valley Lo Towers in Glenview, IL. The bazaar was held in the Club Room facility and was comprised of several vendors who were extended an exclusive invitation. We had hand-crafted gift boxes, hand-crafted soaps made by Home Spa and a variety of explosion books. It was a pleasure to speak to the residents, tell them about our event scrapbooking service and enjoy the holiday cheer.
